Arlaina

Arlaina, a simple elf, found herself rather confused at the strange invitation that had arrived with the daily post. It wasn't often that the Goblin King sent word to her part of the world, and she couldn't help but wonder if a wayward goblin had managed to get lost and had dropped it on her doorstep in an attempt to hurry his business along. She peered again at the heavy vellum paper, consulting the time and place, and finally pushed through the heavy doors. She had as much right to enter the masquerade as anyone else, she did have an invitation...

(In translation: Arlaina is an elf, who found herself invited to the Masquerade ball. She opted for a painted on mask versus the traditional affair and opts for simpler designs and decorations.)

I dunno, there didn't seem to be very many entries to the #Jareths-Labyrinth art challenge, so I scribbled this up this evening. I meant to do it, but then forgot about it...then realized it had to be an original character, with a description and stuff...but it was fun to draw an elvish character.
