Week 12 - Jem

Once again, being a tag-a-long with #IllustriousBits's weekly challenges. Week Twelve's challenge was a character from the show "Jem and the Holograms." And while I did not watch when it was originally on I have "discovered" it on the Hub and recently watched several episodes and took a snapshot (using my camera) for reference on this image. I also trolled Google for some other images to look at, all the episodes that were on this week didn't have Jem in her "typical" look, they were all crazy costumes.

Also, why does her star have seven points? So strange, and yes, I counted it on several scenes to make sure it wasn't a fluke. And yes, I realize it doesn't look much like her. With the #IllustriousBits challenges I'm trying to draw in my own style instead of the mimicry I usually do when drawing. That's why I do these challenges, they push me to draw something but my way not "Oh this line looks like this..."
